Hailing from Switzerland, Sami Eschmann is a passionate illustrator and storyteller. His work effortlessly combines a rare blend of wit, nonsense and absurdity, accurately reflecting his unique sense of humour. Eschmann’s raw and uncomplicated style gives the book a very personal and approachable note. Similarities can be drawn to David Shrigley and yet Sami manages to enunciate the naivety of his drawings with a somewhat dry, Swiss whimsicality, not taking his himself or his work too seriously.
